A Waterfall

Lip, lip
Sounds of water
On a river bank
The water is going faster
Downstream
You can hear water
Falling on rocks,
On everything
A light mist is rising
Above the edge
Where the river stops
And falls down
To earth
Hard and fast
Beautiful and deadly
And yet people
Are drawn
To a waterfalls beauty
